I’ve learned the best ways to make gold in World of Warcraft by using a great WoW gold guide that my guildmaster recommended. As I always had my pockets empty, I never had potions for raids, my gear didn’t have any jewels or enchants, all in all I was playing my Death Knight at 70% efficiency. However, applying this method you can also get burned. If you buy the wrong items for reselling them, the prices might decrease over night and you will lose money.

Gathering

There are two main gathering professions in World of Warcraft. Herbalism and Mining. Taken to the highest skill level, this two gathering skills can turn into real gold mines. Some of the highest level resources are pretty scarce, and knowing where to look to collect them will bring you nice profits.

Getting Money From PvP

This might sound odd, but you can also make nice amounts of gold every week by having fun in battlegrounds. Honor can be exchanged for epic gems that can be sold for nice profits. All I do is play a few BGs, do the weekly quests in Wintergrasp and I get 20-30k honor, enough to buy 2-3 gems, which bring me a couple of hundreds every week.
