Children are secured in a 5-point harness with adjustable straps and shoulder pads which ensure their comfort and safety. You can lock the front wheel into position when you're using it as a jogger, and then unlock it so it pivots, which makes it much easier to turn if you're just out for a walk, or taking your baby shopping.
The canvas finish of the stroller's fabric is weather resistant. Mine has held up to raspberry stains, spilled water, and a good amount of sun and rain, with minimal effect.
